"Epigenetic Inheritance: Impact for Biology and Society" at ETH Zürich on Aug 26-28, 2019.

The symposium will be dedicated to the theme of epigenetic inheritance, a novel discipline at the interface between biology, medicine and environmental science that studies how life experiences and environmental factors can modify the organism across generations. The symposium is a follow-up of the Latsis Symposium 2017 held at ETHZ, which raised major interest nationally and internationally and was highly successful. The 2019 symposium will gather leaders from different disciplines working on epigenetic inheritance, and cover scientific aspects from behavior to metabolism in humans and various animal models. It will feature keynote lectures from leaders in the field, and short talks from young researchers, and provide a platform for discussion and debate about the current state of research, new findings and discoveries, the challenges of the discipline and the perspectives for biology, medical research and the society. In addition to scientific talks, attendees will also have the opportunity to present their work and exchange ideas at two poster sessions, and a workshop “Meet the Experts” at the end of the symposium.
Great list of speakers + workshop "Meet the experts: Questions and Answers"

It is incredibly exciting to see the Allard Lab sharing their insights at a symposium dedicated to epigenetic inheritance. Breaking down how biological blueprints adapt across generations is such a fascinating area of research that requires a deep understanding of complex, interconnected systems. Tracking how these foundational mechanics evolve and scale over time honestly reminds me of diving into structural upgrade stats on the Roblox Ice Tycoon 2 Wiki to optimize performance. Thank you for sharing this inspiring update from the field!

This symposium sounds fascinating! Epigenetic inheritance is such a complex topic. It reminds me of how my brain feels when I try to solve jeff goldblum wordle —a fun but tricky daily puzzle.
This symposium on epigenetic inheritance sounds fascinating! I'm always amazed at how our experiences can affect future generations. By the way, if you're checking your screen for display issues while reading about this, a black screen full test can help spot dead pixels.
